Cyber Assist SMS Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: July 19, 2026

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Cyber Assist, you agree to the following Mobile Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not opt in to receive these messages.

1. Program Description & Purpose

Cyber Assist offers text messaging for appointment management with our helpdesk and for Concierge Onboarding sessions.

2. Explicit User Opt-In

By checking the opt-in box on our signup and order forms, you explicitly consent to receive text messages from Cyber Assist at the mobile number provided.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your user activity and current security threats. You can expect to receive text messages relating to:

  • Onboarding appointment confirmations and rescheduling reminders.

  • Direct communication from our helpdesk support team regarding active tickets.

4. Message and Data Rates May Apply

Cyber Assist does not charge a fee for our text messaging service. However, standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. Check your mobile plan details for specific texting rates.

5. How to Opt-Out (Stopping Messages)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. To stop receiving text messages from Cyber Assist, simply text STOP to our short code or messaging phone number in reply to any message. After texting STOP, you will receive one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Following this, you will no longer receive text messages from us unless you explicitly opt back in.

6. How to Get Help

If you are experiencing issues with our text messaging program or need assistance, text HELP in reply to any message, or contact our support team directly via email at support@cyberassist.app.

7. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Wireless carriers (such as T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Cyber Assist makes every effort to deliver critical security alerts promptly, but delivery is subject to transmission from your network provider.

8. Privacy & Data Security

We respect your privacy. Cyber Assist will never sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third-party marketers or unauthorized entities for promotional purposes. All mobile data is handled strictly in accordance with our primary Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar digital markers to remember your preferences, understand how visitors interact with our site, and improve performance. We may use third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics) to help us interpret this data in aggregate. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function perfectly if you do.

5. How We Share Information

We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our business—such as our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, billing processors, web hosting providers, and specialized IT/cybersecurity tool vendors. These providers are authorized to process your information only to perform these specific services for us.

  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request.

  • Business transfers: If Cyber Assist is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that business transaction.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as it is reasonably needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to provide our ongoing services to your business, and to comply with our legal, tax, or contractual obligations. When data is no longer required, we take steps to securely delete or anonymize it.

7. Data Security

Because we specialize in tech and assistance, data security is central to what we do. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, please remember that no method of online transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your geographic location (such as states with specific privacy laws like California, Colorado, or Virginia), you may have specific legal rights regarding your data. These typically include the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, delete your data, or opt-out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these choices, please reach out to us using the contact details below.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website or portal may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those external sites. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site before sharing your information with them.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website, tools, and services are strictly intended for adults. They are not directed toward or designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make updates, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed.
